CAN YOU LET ME SEE PAST PROJECTS YOU’VE COMPLETED THAT ARE SIMILAR TO MINE?

WILL MY BUILD BE CONSIDERED ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY?

We get asked this question a lot and can advise you on the most ‘green’ materials available and what their pricing structure is.

DO YOU HAVE AN ARCHITECT OR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER YOU COULD RECOMMEND?

We have worked with many design professionals over the years and can certainly vouch for the work of some of these individuals and companies.

IF PLANNING PERMISSION IS REQUIRED, WHEN CAN MY BUILD BEGIN?

It should be possible to lay the first brick within a few weeks of the council approving your application. This leaves time for any possible disputes over a party wall with neighbours.

WHAT ARE BUILDING REGULATIONS AND WILL MY PROJECT BE SUBJECT TO THEM?

The short answer is ‘yes.’ All homes where people are to live require to be checked for fire and general safety matters, including heating and insulation.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY HOME RENOVATION PROJECT, EXTENSION, LOFT CONVERSION OR GARDEN ROOM? IS IT A DEPOSIT AND THE REMAINDER ONCE IT’S COMPLETE?

We prefer you to pay once you’re happy with a particular milestone being reached. This means a payment up front and perhaps one or two inbetween times then the remainder once you are completely satisfied with your build.
